Maryland vs. Xavier – NCAA Pick

What teams have success in March? Teams with solid guard play. Well if there is one thing Maryland has, it’s elite guard player with Melo Trimble and Anthony Cowan.
Maryland takes on the Musketeers of Xavier in a Friday evening game. Xavier was bound for a 4-seed or better mid-season, but the loss of their point guard and leading scorer, Edmond Sumner, crushed those expectations. Before a Butler win in the Big East tournament, this team was right on the bubble. Xavier is just 3-7 overall in their last 10 games, and there only wins are that Butler win and two DePaul wins.
Maryland has the best player of the court by far, with Trimble, I think they pull away in the second half and win this one by about 8. Spread is Maryland -2, I am very comfortable with that!
